Perennial herbs with one to several ascending
stems. Plants fertile or partially to completely
male sterile. Corollas white to pale mauve.
Harvey County. Common in grassy area ca. 100
yards long by 10 yards broad between road and
fence line at the northeast corner of junction
of County 580 with U. S. 81, 1 mile north of
Kansas 196. Soil a heavy black loam, pH 6. 7.
