Habitat: alluvial terrace, disturbed, probably old agricultural
field.
Associated spp: Sorghum halepense, Sphaeralcea
angustifolia, Salsola tragus, Conyza canadensis, Laennecia
coulteri, Anodoa thruberi, Machaeranthera tanacetifolia.
Notes: Annual, flowers pale purple, midveins with conspicuous
red dye, occasional
