PLANTS OF DEPTO. SANTA CRUZ, BOLIVIA Anoda cristata (L.) Schltdl. Malvaceae Det.: S.R.Hill, (ILLS) 2007 PROV. CABALLERO 17° 52’ 45” S. Lat. 064° 32’ 30” W. Long. [GPS] 5 kilometers north of turnoff from main highway, before [near] crossing of Rio Comarapa on dirt road from Comarapa up the Rio Comarapa valley. Elevation 1880-1900 meters. Coordinate datum WGS 84 / NAD 83. Clay, gravel, shale banks, low hills and stream terraces. Valley bottom with cultivated Fragaria, Cyclanthera pedata, with stands of Arundo donax and with Rubus boliviensis in hedges. The slopes with dry to mesic scrub forest with Anredera, Jodina rhombifolia, Aralia soratensis, Tripodanthus acutifolius.
