Elevation about 10 feet. Wet acidic peaty sand.
Flatland bog with Cliftonia, Ilex, Myrica,
Gaylussacia, Vaccinium, Drosera tracyi. Frequent shrub
about 2 meters tall, fruit immature, green, 4-winged,
pendulous; leaves tough, leathery.
