The New York Botanical Garden Asarum canadense L. Aristolochiaceae U.S.A. New York, Tomkins Co.: On the south-facing wall of Fall Creek Gorge, above Fall Creek; approximately 160 ft from the lawn of Risley Hall, Cornell University. Approximately half a dozen clumps; each clump approximately 1 ft wide. Growing in clay and humus soil. Associated flora includes Erythronium americanum, Berberis thunbergii, Carpinus caroliniana, Carya sp., Maianthemum racemosum, Eurybia divaricata, Sambucus canadensis, Actaea sp.
