Stems arching and sprawling. Flowers past (11:00 A.M.,
mostly cloudy), many of the wilted flowers with scarab
beetles within apparently devouring the stamens; outside of
flower yellow-green with rose to purplish bracts; inside of
tepals white. Fruit green, coarsely ribbed-tuberculate.
