Nearly a monoculture stand of young Robinia pseudoacacia
and Rosa multiflora in floodplain of Wabash River between
road and p'icnic ground. With Pilea pumila, Boehmeria
cylindrica, Perilla frutescens, Verbesina alternifolia.

Herbs with single stems to 1.5 m. tall, then branched, with
spreading branches to 1.5 m. long. Stem and inflorescence
axes light purple. Inflorescence hanging; fruit purple-black.
