Hay I assure you of the great pleasure which your
surprise package gave us upon Its receipt last Friday*The
plants which you have sent are of exceeding Interest to me,
especially the generous specimen which you have sent of
Cheiroelossa. We shall be only too glad to file these in
our herbarium. Ithink It will be advisable for us not to
fasten the Cheiroglossa to the sheets, because that might

able to supply the preserved material« You do not ask for
containers, but if these are desired, ire can readily supply
