9546-079251, Zone 56, Easting 507950 (m), Northing
7125150 (m); north side of Seary’s Creek, Cooloola
Sand Forest, 2-5 km NE of Rainbow Beach Road on
sandy fire access road. Near the western Pacific Ocean
coast. Northeast of Gympie. Level sands, some sand
ridges and slopes, water table near surface in levels.
Mesic tropical forest, wetter than Wallum forest to
north, but probably not true rainforest - yet humid.
Agathis, Linospadix [walking-stick palms],
Macrozamia, many others. Infrequent erect
green-stemmed perennial rooted in humus of rotting
log on ground. Low, level area, in shade.
