Field collection data: Costa Rica. Lithophytic or,
more rarely, epiphytic on semi-vertical rock-
walls and densely forested or shrubby slopes
and gorges along the Rio Virillo. A short
distance from San Jose-Uruca. Around 1100-
1200 m. altitude. Comparatively frequent in
heavy jungle or shrubbery.
