Kazbegi and west of the Tergi River, on east-facing scree slopes.
42° 38.965' N: 44° 37.752' E. Elevation: ca. 1800 m. (coordinates
and elevation from hand-held GPS; coordinates accurate to within
a radius of about 500 m)
Growing with Festuca, Spiraea, Juniperus and Astragalus kazbeki.
