San Bernardino Valley: Loma Linda, cultivated at residence on Redlands Blvd. just west of Anderson St. (San Bernardino South 7.5’ Q.: 34°03'47"N, 117°15'45"W,±100m). Alt.: 325m/1065ft. Large, planted, urban yard. Perennial, stems spreading/ascending, sometimes clambering, and forming a dense patch c. 3 ft. diameter and 1 ft. high; fls. dingy white with purple herringbone pattern on floor of throat. Fls. with barely discernible scent. Quite drought tolerant and somewhat weedy/aggressive here. Growing in full sun in heavy clay soil. Brought from S.
