Along Eagle Mountain Road north of I-10, at large wash
crossing. West of Desert Center, western Chuckwalla
Valley. 33.71579° (W, 115.45142° O'W (Desert Center
7.5’: T5S R15E S19, SE/4 of SE/4). Alt.: 314m/1030ft.
Wash and alluvial plain with creosote bush scrub and
microphyll woodland. Quaternary alluvium and dune
sand. Silt, sand and gravel soil, 7.5 YR 3/2 dark brown; or
sand and gravel 10 YR 5/2 grayish brown. With Pectis
papposa, Larrea tridentata, Psorothamnus spinosus,
Allionia incamata, Parkinsonia florida, Ambrosia salsola,
Olneya tesota, Simmondsia chinensis, Chamaesyce
setiloba, Funastrum hirtellum, Encelia farinosa, Ambrosia
dumosa, Asclepias subulata, Chamaesyce polycarpa,
Boerhavia coulteri var. palmeri.
Annual. Frequent on west side of road, 1000+ plants.
Prostrate.
