small stream entering river from north; elev. 6480*
Grassy area between stream and adjacent sagebrush
community and along main river banks; with Poa
pratensis, Festuca idahoensis, Carex foena, Poten-
tina fruticosa, Artemisia tridentata, Anemone
multifida, Valeriana edulis, and Thalictrum ven-
ulosum. Plants abundant; perianth blue-violet
with yellow eye; outer tepals oblanceolate with
rounded and aristulate apex. Plants from this
population with n=32.
