Herbarium of the University of Florida Plants of Georgia Sisvrinchimn corvmbosum Bicknell Spm. in FRUIT. Capsules mature, dark brown to black, spherical, 3.5-4.0 mm. long; spathe valves of equal length, 10-12 mm. long; leaves shorter than 1st node on stem, 2.5-3.0 mm. broad; stems few-many (±10-50), erect, forked, winged, 2.5-3.0 mm. broad, purple tinged and non-geniculate at nodes; plants sparsely fibrous at base, cespitose, to 50 cm. Locally abundant; moist sandy loam of shallow roadside ditch through low pine woodland, along secondary road (CR 137) between US 301 and US 1, ca. 9 mi. n. of Folkston, CHARLTON County. coll.
