Onslow Co.: Bear Island or Hammocks
Beach State Park about 3 miles from
Swansboro. Edge of salt marsh along
sound near the western end of the island.
Common along lower edge of salt marsh.
Plants much smaller and later in flowering
than those 2 or 3 feet higher in elevation
Corollas deep bluish lavender.
