villages Kazbegi and Achkhoti, left bank of r. Snostskali, 150m S of bridge,
ca. 42° 38.098' N: ca. 44° 37.666’ E. Elevation: ca. 1766 m.
Subalpine wetland, Deshampsieto-Equisetetum. Plant cover 100%.
Deshampsia cespitosa, Coeloglossum viride, Triglochin maritimum,
Dactylorhiza euxina.
Perennial, rhizomatous. Stems glaucous, with hollow, 2 types, fertile stems
brownish, sterile stems green, branched, with grooves; branches solid,
sheaths pale brown with darker teeth. Leaves very small. Cones obtuse.
