83. Wet sandy soil over sandstone.
Steep slopes of gorge, hillside seeps at base of slope alon^
road, with Gloxinia sylvatica, Piper sp. Locally
common colonial herb to 2.5 meter tall; this species rare
along this highway and this is the only large patch seen
between Angostura and Bermejo.
