Very flat grassland with scattered shrubs and
short tortuous trees, natural savanna, grazed.
With fine black silty soil, evidence of fires,
large termite mounds.
Tank epiphyte on Curatella tree, the tanks
erect and holding water although said to be 15
days without rain. Leaves green with dull
purple spots on outside. Inflorescences old,
brown.
