Cultivated in Duke Greenhouses from cutting of Martin
& Plowman 1805 (see label of original collection).
Six year old cutting 7-1Q in long, 4 cm diameter near
base.
Petals dark pink at first, fading to light pink. No
autogamous fruit set. Flowers odiferous - fresth,
not sweet. Buds drying much more silvery than when
alive.
