Upper corolla lobe emarginate, lavender with pale lilac margins, pro- jecting forward. Palate with pale lilac and purple border on top. Lower corolla lobe broadly obovate, lavender. Spur projecting horizontally below lower corolla lobe. Lvs. minute, rich green, orbicular, peltate, stalked, 2 mm. broad. Rare. Moist face of sandstone along Rio Tirica between Middle Falls of Rio Tirica and Summit Camp altitude 1925 meters February 5, 1955 Julian A. Steyermark John A.
