very low Myrtaceae forest on rocky soil, with many lianas and
epiphytes growing on the ground.
Large epiphyte, growing at 1.80 m height. Leaves up to 1 m
long, grey-green, spined at edges, pink inside. Infructescence
powdery white. Plant contains much water inside. Rhizome
bright yellow inside.
