/16/US Harvard University, Gray Herbarium (GH) PLANTS OF FLORIDA Vitis rotundifolia Michx. VITACEAE Vine covering small trees, common, in bud only. At the edge of a small, shrubby tropical hammock woodland remnant, in sandy soil over oolitic limestone (Opalocka sand-Rock outcrop complex; Sandy, siliceous, hyperthermic Lithic Udorthents). Growing with Abrus precatorius, Ardisia escallonioides, Bidens alba, Callicarpa americana, Desmodium incanum, Jasminum fluminense(?), Metopium toxiferum, Pithecellobium keyense (?), Quercus virginiana, Rhus copallinum, Sabal palmetto, Serenoa repens, Smilax bona nox, Smilax havanensis, Toxicodendron radicans, Trema micrantha, & Zamia pumila. Along the N. side of an east-west-running dirt road, Montgomery Botanical Center, Coral Gables, Miami-Dade Co.
