Disturbed wet silty sand; alluvial deposits.
Floodplain forest, degraded, dominated by Populus
deltoides, Acer negundo, Acer saccharum, Celtis
laevigata, Campsis radicans. Common liana about 3
meters long, stems and petioles tinted reddish, leaves
somewhat shiny above, slightly pubescent beneath;
fruit immature, green, only slightly glaucous, clusters
pendulous.
