Disturbed woods and edges with Acer saccharinum,
Robinia pseudoacacia, Ulmus americana, Platanus
occidentalis, Juglans nigra, the understory dominated by
Lonicera maackii.
Tangled vine over small trees. Fruit green, many of them
infected by fungi and turning white.
