Wilbur VIII 1982 Costa Rica: Provincia de Heredia: Finca La Selva, the OTS Field Station on the Rio Puerto Viejo just E of its junction with the Rio Sarapiqui. Elevation about 100 m. Around 1420 m E, 1600 m S. Epiphyte surviving on treefall, on larger branches of 20 m tree about 5 m below crown. Lower inflores- cence bracts pink, flowers yellow, petals barely opening, fruits red.
