Utricularia purpurea Walter
Located one half mile south of Blackwater Lake. Extemely abundant at this
location; 100's of purple blooms. Plants growing along the boggy edge of a
small, 10 acre lake with Chamaedaphne calyculata var. angustifolia and Carex
lasiocarpa var. americana. Associated with Brasenia schreberi, Scirpus
subterminalis, Utricularia intermedia. Extending as much as 30 feet from bog
t to center of lake.
