Habitat
Cerrado on stony ground with shallow soils and nearby stream through caatinga with small dam with marshy ground. This plant in disturbed sandy caatinga in open ground.

Description
Viscid herb with prostrate to ascending or erect stems to about 30 cm. Leaves dull green, viscid. Bracteoles and calyces pale green, often purplish-tinged. Corolla blue with violet tinge. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
