top of initial steep slope from coast and along gradual slope beyond to peak of ridge.
Pinus pumila and Alnus sp. as the dominant vegetation with and extensive low cover
of ericads (Vaccinium, Rhododendron), Empetrum or grasses and tall forbs
(Filipendula, Cirsium).. 47°43'1N 152°58'23E Elev. 150 m
Fide H. Rondeau; fruits deep purple to black, leaves lemon yellow, viscid; growing in
old unpaved road bed
