Disturbed, flat forest surrounding campground, with mixed hardwoods (Acer saccharum, Magnolia fraseri, Betula lenta, Fagus grandifolia, Liquidamar styraciflua), sparse Tsuga canadensis, and occasional quartzite-granite rocks with a Rhododendron understory. corticolous on fallen branch.
