  • Description

    Tree to 20 m tall, 40 cm DBH. Leaves very glossy, green above, with a slight bluish cast beneath. Petals yellow with a reddish purple blotch at base. Flowers very fragrant, fruity, a mixture of banana and coconut. Nitidulid beetle observed in flower. Immature fruit green. Flowers, fruit pickled. Cytological voucher. Wood voucher. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
