Berberidaceae	blue cohosh
Panther Creek. Panther State Forest. Ca. 2 air miles SSE of Panther,
overlooking State Forest headquarters. Habitat: East facing slope with
outcrops (shale and sandstone); deciduous forest w/ some hemlock.
Associated species: Polypodium virginianum, Tsuga canadensis, and
Saxifraga virginiensis.
UTM zone 17, 421990mE, 4144895mN (NAD-83)	Elev: 1200 ft.
Characters: Sepal dimmensions approaching C. giganteum.
