Diminutive, semi-aquatic herb.
Insectivorous. Common locally.
Thalli and leaves with a red tint.
Habitat: a large expanse of weakly
coalesced, boggy floating mat;
dominated by Eleocharis
acutangula, with abundant
Syngonanthus sp. and
Cyrtopodium paludicolum.
