(Jepson) Fedde] "EPIPACnS CANYON": Un-named canyon draining ENE to Lone Pine Canyon and originating near the E end of Upper Lytle Creek Ridge [Sheep Creek Truck Road, 2N56, drops NEward through the lower half of this canyon]; Cajon 7.5' USGS topo sheet; T2N R6W, SW/4 NW/4 NE/4 section 10; elev. ca. 3380-3480 feet. Riparian strip with scattered willows and "mesic chaparral" species; Epipactis gigantea and Pycncut- themum californicwn locally abundant along stream; adjacent slopes and flats largely supporting chaparral elements; a few arborescent Quercus chrysolepis localized on mesic lower slopes.
