Growing at the edge of a cycad & palm garden in disturbed sandy soil with limestone gravel & wood mulch (Opalocka sand-Rock outcrop complex; sandy, siliceous, hyperthermic Lithic Udorthents). Next to the Director’s residence at the Montgomery Botanical Center, Coral Gables, Miami-Dade Co. Elev. about 8ft. 25° 39' 41.3"N, 80° 16' 48.1"W; UTM 17 572260E, 2838392N (NAD83/WGS84). Coll.
