2-2.5 cm diam.; cataphylls red-brown,
persisting semi-intact; peduncle
medium to dark green, semiglossy,
sheathed only near the base, tinged
purplish above middle; blades elliptic
to oblong-elliptical equilateral,
subcoriaceous, dark green and
matte-subvelvety above, moderately
paler and weakly glossy below; midrib
weakly sunken and slightly paler
above, narrowly rounded and glossy,
slightly darker below; primary lateral
veins weakly quilted-sunken and
concolorous above, pleated and
concolorous below; minor veins fine,
moderately distinct; inflorescences 3
per axil; peduncle pale green, weakly
glossy, 3 mm diam.; spathe 7-10 mm
diam., medium green on tube; spathe
blade fallen.
