Description
Tree, 30 cm dbh. Bark smooth, without conspicuous fissures. Stems grayish-brown, lenticellate, vertically oriented, the pith white, solid. Leaves paripinnate, 24-33 cm long, with 5 leaflets, the terminal leaflet petiolate, the latteral leaflets subsessile, their bases often asymmetric, all leaflets dark green adaxially, light green abaxially, the margens serrate, the teeth short, glabrous adaxially, with inconspicuous trichomes along lower part of midrib abaxially. Fruits immature, globose (but slightly flattened), 3-5 cm diam., green, with white small punctations on surface, usully ridged along junction of valves, when dried the surface turns brown, the mesocarp ca. 7 mm thick, the endocarp not hard, i.e. easily cut with hand clippers. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
