Epiphyte on tree trunk 4 m. up9 short climbly at first;
adult pit. ¿ rosulate, stem very short, clothed in old
fibrous c&taphylls. New cataphylls greenish-cream. Lf.bl.
to 65 x 43 cm, coriaceous, strongly undulate, adax. matte
rich green, midrib poorly defined, it & I.*s paler green,
I.'s si. convex & slender; abax. very It. green, I.'s
strong, creamy. Pet. dirty med. green, at midpt. 1.7 cm
thick, adax. flattish, rounded abax. Bl. & pet. in 1 plane
