frequent flooding due to release of water from
Hartwell Dam upriver; alluvial forest. Site #2
(Lat. 82°03f58"; Long. 82°38'10"), about 0.5 mile
south of the S. C. 72 bridge over the Savannah.
Below the 475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed
Russell Lake; completion date, mid-1980,s).
