Large liana, scrambling along roadside. Leaves green
above, pale below. Fruits brown when old.
Locality: Papua New Guinea: Moreguina-Magi
Highway Junction, 3 km from Merani Village, Abau,
Central Province.
Habitat: Lowland rainforest of mixed composition.
Previously logged and veiy much disturbed. Dominant
species: Pterocarpus indicum, Syzygium spp. Pometia
pinnata, Elaeocarpus spp. and Mastixiodendron sp.
