Shrub, 4m tall, spreading. Stem smooth brown, bark
fibrous. Leaves dark green above pale below.
Inflorescence umbel; flowers creamy white, sweet
smelling. Fruit green ripening red.
Locality: Papua New Guinea: Waiana Swamp, East
of More River, Abau, Central Province.
Habitat: Lakeshore dominated by mixture of tree
species.
