CLUSIACEAE
Shrubs 2-3ft tall, abundant, usually little-branched lower on
main stem. Growing in a seasonally wet prairie in sandy-
organic soil, with Aletris lútea, Andropogon sp., Centella
asiatica, Chaptalia tomentosa, Drosera capillaris,
Hypericum cistifolium, H. myrtifolium, H. tetrapetalum,
Hypoxis juncea, Lachnocaulon anceps, Myrica cerífera,
Polygala lutea, Quercus minima, Sarracenia minor,
Serenoa repens, Syngonanthus flavidulus and Viola
lanceolata. To the N side of Durden Rd. and to the western
edge of Management Unit 7. Avon Park Air Force Range,
Polk Co. Elev. about 75ft. 27° 38' 45"N, 81° 17' 21"W.
