¡ARDEN Collected under the auspices of Associates in Tropical Biogeography, University of California. Collector’s note. Mesa de San Alejo, an extensive broken topped volcanic tableland, slopes gradually from the highest northwestern part (ca. poo m.) towards the southwest. The most abundant woody plants are Prosopis Palmeri, Cercid- ium praecox, C. sonorae, Bursera microphylla, Jatropha cinerea, Fouquieria peninsularis, Lemaireocereus Thurberi, Pachycereus Pringlei and Ruellia peninsularis. Following winter rains, Franseria camphorata is very abundant. BAJA CALIFORNIA, SUR, MEXICO Sierra de la Giganta Viguiera deltoidea Gray aff, var.
