MEXICO: In the pedregal at the south edge
of Mexico City a mile beyond the Cuidad
Universitaria. Elevation about 7600 feet.
ANNOTATED.
Herbs about 2 m. tall, the stems clustered
on a fibrous-rooted base. Leaves opposite
below, alternate above. Heads yellow, with
mostly 10-13 rays.
