Highly disturbed forest, dense and difficult to walk. Large areas covered with Gleichenia and
Arthrostylidium/Chusquea?. Erect herb 1.5 m tall; inflorescence ascending, with deep pink axes;
calyx deep pink; corolla pink to white.
