Remnants of chaco forest, with Phyllostylon rhamnoides, Acanthosyris falcata, Aspidospermum quebracho-blanco, Ruprechtia triflora, with small temporary roadside pond, surrounded by pastures and cultivated fields. Flat, clay soil.

Weak, branched, forming a mass, 1.4 m tall. Flowers pale blue.
