Primary forest. Woody climber with adhesive roots. Stems slightly succulent, with "brown bark . Leaves coriaceous-succulent, shining and medium green above, glossy and pale green be- neath, bullate. Margin of the leaves with red teeth. Calyx green at the base, wine-red in the upper part. Corolla i*reerish-whit e.
