PLANTAS DE VENEZUELA 38 '2# Philodendron karstenianum Schott Common climber on tree trunks in low light. Stems buff in age, internodes flat on one side. Leaf blade adax. medium dark green, matte with slight satin luster and glossy nervature, abax. glossy medium green; thin, pa- per-like, recurved on petiole. Petiole wings green, wide-spreading & somewhat revolute marginally, with concave channel medianly that continues on non-vaginate part; free auricle of wings 5 mm long.
