Extending across entire littoral area of 30 A dammed
watershed lake. Floating leaves to 9 cm across, submersed
petioles 1 m long off rhizomes rooted 1 m deep in clay
substrate. Plants vegetative.

This species also observed in adjacent, 180 A "Big" Lake
Lorman for past 5 years. Plants spread to both lakes after
t being cultivated in backyard water-gardens.
