W of Humaita. 12°011S, 68°18fW alt. 150 m. Nearly flat, non-inundated upland evergreen forest dominated by scattered emergent Berthol- letia excelsa. Hemiepiphyte at 5-7 m. from ground on trunk of small tree. Leaves green above, with diffuse purple below. Flowers odorless; calyx red; corolla yellow with red lines in throat. Coll.: M.
